Tuesday
Spent the night coughing and have sore throat. Rob M has this also. It is probably the reason for the lack of energy yesterday but we powered through regardless.
Inspired by our trip to the nuclear bunker we've all started to watch Fallout on Prime. Some guy named Dave Wilson has left his prime account on our TV so we've been using that.
Today we go to breakfast the latest we've ever been - 10am. Our usual table is taken (there's only 2 tables for 4) so we sit in on table next to McM's. No English Breakfast Tea is available, so I ask for some and two kitchen guys turn the place upside down looking for a box. They find one, happy days.

I go healthy (for a change) and have strawberry yoghurt on fruit. It is delish.

Ange goes to reception to ask about boarding pass printing. We just have to email them and they'll sort it. Check out is 12:00 but we can leave cases here - we don't need to leave for airport until about 18:00ish.
We pack and say goodbye to room.

We head off towards the Žižkov Television Tower. This is a freaky looking place built in the 80's to improve radio and TV transmission. Entry is about £10pp. It's 212m tall but the observation deck is at 93m. It's freaking ugly. We get the tram there and Rob has forgotten to activate his PID pass for today, but we've not been stopped by anyone the whole time we've been here.
It's a 10 mins walk to the tower. There's a Jewish graveyard right next to it, nice. It's not busy at all so we scan in and get straight in lift.

There's some good info on the design and construction of the tower for me to get excited about. I haven't told anyone that I'm an Engineer on this holiday btw. My Czechlish is not good enough.
Then off to the metro after some larking about.

Catch metro into town so we can eat and shop. We head for an Italian place called Al Forno. I order lasagne and Lisa orders pizza and we agree to share. She doesn't like lasagne because it's slightly different to how she likes it...I really like it, all the food is top quality. After dinner, waitress comes round and stamps our placemats with the dessert menu which is kinda cool.

Then after this it's shops, and back to hotel to collect luggage. Rob M farts in public. Ange moans about us both coughing all the time. We get train and bus to airport, which is fairly uneventful. It does rain a little at bus stop.
We are at airport now which is why I'm finishing this blog here. I will ask the others to send their best 12 pictures to me which I'll upload as a gallery in a separate post.

Safe travels gang. Thanks for the blog, brilliantly written as always.
